Absolutely, agree with you on this! Just felt like that fiction needs a little bit of sticking up for.. I’m actually a big fan of narrative history as well — books like “SPQR” by Mary Beard, “Silk Roads” by Peter Frankopan, and recently just finished “A Brief History of Nearly Everything” by Bill Bryson. Usually I alternate fiction with non-fiction titles to make sure I don’t overdose on either…
