I am conflicted about this post…

On one hand, I am disappointed because it completely omits fiction, which for me has had a much greater impact on my life and outlook than anything that came from the “smart thinking” shelf at the bookshop.

One the other hand, I do identify with the message that there is a time to stop studying and to start doing. Ironically, this is something that has stuck with me from reading a great work of fiction: Zorba the Greek by Nikos Kazantzakis.
