Thought provoking for sure and I like that Stoicism is experiencing a revival, but I can’t help but think that this is being taken a bit too far by Tim Ferriss and others.

For sure it is good to ponder death from time to time and to understand the urgency that it brings, but daily reminders and “death clocks” just seem morbid to me.

Also, I feel like these reminders are in direct conflict with some things in life that take daily self-sacrifice and hard work. How can you put in the effort to slowly build a start-up from the ground up, for example, if you are constantly reminded that you may die the next day? I would find this more disheartening than motivating.
